Simple minded kid from the streets of the midlands. Gav has been an enthusiast of clios and everything about them since he can remember. From buying a scrappy 1.2 clio and adding everything he needed to on it to get the look of a clio16v to realising it still wasnt good enough and buying a mk1 clio16v only 4 months after passing his test (and remortgaging his future house to pay for the insurance).
Gav is the proud owner of Clio16valver.co.uk and had been with it since day one. Signing off every movement and action to create the Clio16valver we all know and love today. It is only recently he has managed to loosen the restraints on his club and allow other staff members to have some major input in our growth. But with the new set up in place we feel were going to make a big difference!
admin / events co'ordinator / guardian angel
Our saviour and golden graham. Ronee is technically the clubs events co'ordinator, arranging our big club meets such as world series by Renault, French Car Show, Santa Pod and many more. But we think of her as our guardian angel. Ronee looks after merchandise, members and pretty much anything else. She is also the 'brains' of the operation making sure that the direction we are looking to take the club is not the wrong one.
Ronee is the owner of the amazing machine dubbed 'the naples project' a high performance throttle bodied mk1 Clio running crazy BHP and Ronee up the wall. To catch up on this project and the car see our project section.
cheif moderator
Dan is the clubs 'cheif moderator' the mod of the mods. Basically it is Dan's job to keep content on the forum clean and friendly. Dan has been with us a very long time now and had shown pure dedication for the club since day dot. A wizz kid on the detailing side and a dab hand on the ol' mechanical side.
Dan has owned many clios in his life time, buying them cheap, building them up and making excellent examples out of them. Its safe to say Dan is a true enthusiast and were very happy to have him on board.
Club Developer
Tom is the clubs developer helping our founder code and develop bespoke shizz for the club making us unique and move with the times. Tom has a VAST knowledge of all coding languages and is a huge asset to the club, with Tom on board, anything web related is possible and that always puts us one step above the rest
Tom joined us many moons ago as just a baby boy, no license, no car but a big passion for geeky web development and the love of Clio16v’s. Today he has become the proud owner of a glorious Clio 16v, a pink licence and a well respected member of the Clio16valver team.
Moderator
Rob is one of our moderators for the forum and makes it his job to ensure the club is a happy place. Rob has been with us for a few years now but you wouldnt know that unless your close to him as Rob keeps himself in the background making sure his car and job gets done (hence no picture)
Rob is a big part of the community and has helped us out so much in the past taking the club further and further with evert opportunity he has got.
South West Area Rep
Our beloved Lesley is our South West Area Rep. She keeps herself quite and in the background working away vigorously to make sure that the south west has the best meets around. Lesley (originally from the lovely midlands) joined us as a 1.2 owner and continues to love and care for that car treating it as her very own Clio16v.
Great girl to talk to and always there to help people out, excellent member of the team for the club and all in the s.west area.
Moderator
Mike is one of our moderators for the club. Mike has literally been with us since day one and has owned some amazing Clio’s in that time. It’s Mike’s job to keep the forum clean and tidy from arguments, slanging matches and alike and it does this with that unique, fantastic sense of humour he has always had.
Mike is part of the foundations of Clio16valver helping our founder out since the beginning of getting this club up and running!
Midlands Area Rep
Calling all Midlands people, Kieran is your rep and count your lucky stars he is! Kieran manages all the local meets in the Midlands area and makes sure people attend and enjoy gathering around with fellow enthusiasts and having a good time.
Kieran has been with us for as long as we can remember, he has a huge passion for the cars and the club and treats it as it’s his own. Always at the front of the que to help out anyone who’s in need, a major asset to the club and one we hope will stick around for a bloody long time!
North West Area Rep
Winston – well, if you don’t know who this fella is, there WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN THE PAST 5 YEARS! Winston is our North West Area Rep, arranging all the meets in the Manchester area. Winston has a HUGE reputation on the Clio scene and were so stoked to have him on board.
To talk about Winston’s car history would be so time consuming it is unreal as he has had so many, but each and everyone has had Winston’s special unique flare added to it and I KNOW if you Googled ‘Winston clio’ you will find them all.
Suffolk Area Rep
James has been with us a long time now, arranging meets for the Suffolk area. With an awesome choice of car colours (Naples red) and his super bad ass taste of design James has an incredible Clio to show off. And to do this he arranges all the meets for the Suffolk area to get likeminded people together, have a great time and share their enthusiasm.
North East Area Rep
Andy is one of our ‘youngest’ members, meaning he has been with us long. But has made his mark in the Clio16valver community by building and owning a glorious, yellow 172 hybrid Cliomk1, it is Andy’s job to arrange the meets in the North East Area of the UK and getting everyone together to have a great night out.
Clio16valver pride ourselves on being able to have fantastic unforgettable meets with fellow members and reps like Andy are exactly what we need to do this.
Essex area rep
The cheekiest, most contoversial person on the forum and we love him for it. Frank is our very own Essex area rep and makes sure all the southerners in that area are attending some fantastic, no bodykits allowed meets. If you get to speak to this person (and im sure you will) you will automatically think he is a superb chap, making you laugh and making sure you have something to do.
Been with us now a few years and we have loved every minute of it, Frank is a massive part of the community putting a massive cracking smile on the clubs face.
