Hopefully you have all heard or read about various changes we have been implementing across the site just recently. Some have gone down well, others not so much.
We obviously want all of our members to be happy with the club, what we do and how it’s ran. Of course there are going to be cases where we can’t make everyone happy but we can try! The changes to the market place were the most recent things to cause a bit of a stir and after I had read your thoughts, I had a sit down and tried to think of a way to make it a little easier for you.
We can’t make the market place open to all, it can’t be done anymore. Main reasons are a. security and b. our market place has become one of the leading places to buy and sell your items. We have no restriction on how much you sell and we don’t charge you any fees to do so. All of our members have the ability to make a lot of money from our market place so feel it is only fair that for us to host the for sale threads, a little contribution (through membership money) wouldn’t be a big issue. Of course, we’re not here to drain everyone out of their hard earned cash. Which is why the club is open to all and anyone can browse certain sections on the club, no one forces our users to become members. But the things that make you guys money, a lot of money potentially, cost us a lot of money and in order for the club to continue staying online and growing we needed to re look at things.
So, that brings me to this post, a lot of people were saying the don’t have the money to spend on the £10 membership and would only need it for the market place anyway. So Clio16valver will soon be rolling out 3 membership tiers which will hopefully help you out, these tiers are as follows:
- Annual premium membership: £10 which includes: full forum and website access, membership pack inc sticker, tax disc holder, keyring, membership card and welcome letter plus all codes to get discounts from our partnered companies
- Annual silver membership: £5 which includes: full forum access, plus all codes to get discounts from our partnered companies
- Lifetime membership: £50 which includes: full forum and web access for the rest of your life, 1st year membership pack inc sticker, tax disc holder, keyring, membership card and welcome letter, plus all codes to get discounts from our partnered companies including any new ones we get over the years. You will also recieve a discount on all of our merchandise should you want new items or replace broken / worn out ones.
We will be rolling these 3 tiers out over the next month, and you will be able to select from a drop down menu on our membership sign up page which tier you would like.
