Hello to all new and existing members. Some of you may or may not of read Ronee’s post about new things coming to the club but..
.. I just wanted to write a little blog post about what’s new and where were going with it. First off, welcome to the new Clio16valver.co.uk, it’s taken a long long time to get to this point and I’m really pleased to everyone that stuck around. Clio16valver was getting to the point where it was in a much needed rebirth otherwise it was going to fall off the face of the earth. I could see this but at the time many other responsibilities kept me away from the club. Thankfully with the help of Ronee, Matt and many other staff and members the club still lives but needed that extra bit of love to slam it into the modern day. We have realised that the most important thing is our members, what they love and what they love to do, we welcome any body to join but instead of focusing on getting massive hits and a like, we have now decided to channel all of our energy in giving back to our members, listening to their needs and giving you all what you want.
Clio16valver has always been a family like community and I feel it’s because of that that we are who we are and we will continue to grow. Because of this and for my love of this car, I knew it was time to do a serious overhaul, my attention had to be shifted back to the club and I had to become a active member and user of my own club again. So, with this in mind I decided to close my business down for a while and focus all of my attention on this community and everything that will make it continue being the best.
As you can see, we have a brand new website which is completely content managed. All staff members have access to the back end of the website to keep it constantly updated and fresh. We will be bringing you exclusive tutorials, articles and technical guides you will not find elsewhere. We are also doing some rejigging of the forum area to make it more streamlined and more focused on meets, the members and the cars rather than ‘up coming news or bugs’. We have also been in talks with Performance French Car, which you will see from our other blog posts and have new articles, ads and write ups of some of our best meets.
We’re going to be around for much much longer and have so many more things coming your way, included the membership packs which are free to anyone who pays to become a member. Myself and Paddy are sorting these out as we speak and will be announcing their launch in the next few weeks. We are also going to have loads of new merchandise including keyrings, car accessories, club stickers and clothing.
I’m really proud of my club to date and now I know it’s time to step up to ensure Clio16valver continues the success it’s always had.
